April 23, 2025 | Muscat<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 In a remarkable achievement, Omani students have secured the top position internationally in the prestigious Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) programme’s environmental research competition. This accomplishment underscores Oman’s commitment to fostering scientific inquiry and environmental stewardship among its youth.<\/p>

A Triumph in Environmental Research<\/strong><\/h3>

The GLOBE programme, an international science and education initiative sponsored by NASA, provides students worldwide with the opportunity to participate in data collection and the scientific process, contributing meaningfully to our understanding of the Earth system and global environment. This year, students from Al Shifa bint Abdullah School in North Batinah Governorate achieved first place in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.<\/p>
