The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 12 examination results for 2025 on May 13, revealing exceptional performances by students from Indian schools across Oman. This year marked a significant achievement, with several students attaining top scores in their respective streams.
According to the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman, the following students emerged as stream toppers
Science Stream: Sabyasachi Choudhury from Indian School Al Ghubra secured the highest score with an impressive 98.4%
Commerce Stream: Sanghvi Anand of Indian School Muscat achieved the top position with 97.8%
Humanities Stream: Sakina Jariwala from Indian School Wadi Kabir and Israa Mohammed Sadique Shaikh of Indian School Al Ghubra both attained the highest score of 98.4%.
These remarkable results highlight the dedication and hard work of students, teachers, and parents within the Indian school community in Oman.
Indian schools in Oman continue to uphold an inclusive education policy, welcoming every child seeking education in the Sultanate. Nationally, the CBSE Class 12 examination saw an overall pass percentage of 88.39%, with girls outperforming boys, achieving a pass rate of 91.64% compared to 85.70% for boys. Notably, transgender candidates achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate, reflecting the board’s commitment to inclusivity.
