A Triumph in Environmental Research
The GLOBE programme, an international science and education initiative sponsored by NASA, provides students worldwide with the opportunity to participate in data collection and the scientific process, contributing meaningfully to our understanding of the Earth system and global environment. This year, students from Al Shifa bint Abdullah School in North Batinah Governorate achieved first place in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Their research, titled “The Effect of Soil Type on the Growth of Roses,” was conducted by students Teimaa bint Abdullah al Ansariyah and Mahra bint Suleiman al Mazrouiyah.
